Join us as we look back at key storms and floods to see how they have shaped our understanding and developments in weather forecasting. Participate in a "live science" experiment to discover how much forecasts have improved for your needs, as well as for society as a whole.

The coffee/mince pie break will include movie-loops from key forecasting centres, and a festive canapés reception hosted by ECMWF will follow.

This meeting is supported by ECMWF and is part of the Royal Meteorological Society Meetings programme, open to all, from expert to enthusiast, for topical discussions on the latest advances in weather and climate.
